The University of Pretoria hosted a busy week for RadioBlocks Task 5.3 last week, in which JIVE was represented by Des Small. Other attendees were from Yebes Observatory and the host institution. A lot of work got done to develop a catalog of Gold Standard VLBI simulations to serve as a test suite for calibration algorithms; this picture captures the fervid intellectual thrills of this sort of international collaboration.
